Ice Ice Baby.

So I was inspired to write a post today. Actually, Anna told me I should because something totally momentous and, actually, utterly embarrassing, occurred. First a bit of background:

I have come to the realization that every single time I go to a restaurant and I order iced tea...I never get ice in it. Either none at all, or a very minimal amount. I have decided that it is a conspiracy against me. No one wants me to have ice in my iced tea. But you see, it's not just me who's noticed this. My mom and Nick both agree that I never get ice in my iced tea either.

So I was reiterating this to my lovely Bryn Mawr girls [+Mark] at dinner at Bertucci's tonight when I got an iced tea with, yes you guessed it, NO ice. Now apparently I was delineating my conspiracy theory while the waiter was standing RIGHT BEHIND ME. Major faux pas. I had absolutely no idea he was behind me. Then all of a sudden he comes back with another iced tea for me that was half full of ice and said, "Here's a new one with ICE and a nice lemon." I felt my face go from normal to fire engine red. I was so utterly embarrassed I could not believe it. I kept saying "OH MY GOD Thank you! Ah Ah! Thanks so much! OHMIGOSH!"

But, from this horrifying experience came a good thing, I finally got an iced tea with a significant amount of ice and I was happy. It was some good iced tea too. =]

I would also post about the beginning of the semester and about classes and such, but I'm going home soon and won't have that much time. So I'll leave all that for another post. I will say, however, that I am GETTING MY BABY CAR THIS WEEKEND. SQUEE!!!!! My -cough- pre-owned -cough- BLUE MINI COOPER S WITH A WHITE ROOF WHITE RACING STRIPES HEATED SEATS POWER MOONROOF PREMIUM SOUND SYSTEM DRIVING LAMPS AND A SPOILER. -ahem- Can you tell I'm a bit excited? Well I can't wait. And he's coming home tomorrow. =]

I'm still trying to decide between Hermes and Andy. I like both. Hmm. Well I'll sleep on it.

ciao.
